Hillary Clinton als "Big Sister" in "1984"
In den USA sorgt momentan ein Anti-Hillary-Clinton-Werbespot, der auf youtube aufgetaucht ist, für Furore. Die Gattin des ehemaligen US-Präsidenten Bill Clinton wird darin als alles überwachende und kontrollierende "Big Sister" in Anlehnung an George Orwells Buch "1984" dargestellt.
Die Urheber des auf einer alten Apple-Macintosh Werbung aus dem Jahre 1984 basierenden Spots sind unbekannt. Zum Schluss des Spots steht zwar der Vermerk barakobama.com, doch hat das Lager dieses demokratischen Präsidentschaftsbewerbers erklärt, dass der Angriff auf Hillary nicht von ihnen stammt.
Sicher ist, dass Hillary keine Freude an solchen Attacken hat. Das Auftauschen dieses Spots wird sie in ihrer Meinung, dass der Staat das Internet zensurieren, besteuern und regulieren sollte nun noch verstärken.

Hillary may have violated the law by not reporting large contributions to her successful 2000 campaign for U.S. Senator. Mr. Peter F. Paul claims that his contributions were omitted from the public reports filed with the Federal Election Commission, and Hillary denies all knowledge of these contributions. Hillary even denies knowing Mr. Paul, a three time convicted felon, who made the contributions to her 2000 Senate campaign. A video, "Hillary Exposed", produced by the Equal Justice Foundation of America has been viewed more than 725,000 times. A case such as this normally ends any aspirations that a politician may have for public office, and certainly raises questions about the illicit fund-raising practices in the Clinton camp.
